She Really Showed Me

Kate really showed me up the other night. It was bedtime and she was doing her routine 3-year-old bedtime stuff...like, "I need to go pee," and, "I need a drink of water," and "tickle my back," and "I need more books," etc, etc. I was lying in the hallway reading, so she would stay in her bedroom. Finally, after repeatedly sneaking in the hallway to get more books, I told her in a firmer voice to stay in bed and no more books. She got a little upset with me and said, "FINE, I going to bed!" and she did. Wow - She really showed me! :) Ha Ha
