A visit from Logan and Lexi

We LOVE it when family comes to visit. It was so fun to have Deyce's family here on her birthday! The kids were asking for weeks, "When is Lexi and Logan going to be here?" We were hoping for a little warmer weather, but unfortunately Deyce brought some of the cold weather with her.
Luckily, the last day was sunny and warm. It really warmed up after she left town!
We don't have any pets, so every once in a while we go to the family pet store where you can hold the baby puppies or kitties for a while and then go home. I'm not sure if it helps fill the void my kids believe exists without pets or if it just makes them want one even more. Anyway, it's fun, so we took the cousins with us to pet a few puppies. It was fun.
Look at Deyce's face...she's obviously thinking, "PLEASE Garrick, I want a puppy soooo bad!"

Emma and Lexi

Lexi, Kate, and Logan feeding the ducks at the Lake. We have a serious duck population problem at our neighborhood lake and park. Over the years, I have witnessed it grow leaps and bounds with all kinds of new ducks. It does, however, make for a good place to feed ducks. You just have to watch out for the poop.
Kate and Logan played so well together the whole time they were here. It was great. We are so glad they came!
