Last Wednesday was Evan's first Pinewood Derby. He did a great job designing his car. He drew a picture of what he wanted it to look like, including choosing the color and lightning bolts for the sides. He and Jon had fun working on it together. Evan really likes to build things with Jon. He and Kate really look forward to going to Lowe's building days on Saturdays with Jon.
He ended up getting a trophy for 3rd place!!! It was a fun night. Jon is determined that the ward needs to have an adult pinewood derby race with no rules. That would actually be a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures from the night:
