This picture was taken a few months ago - Kate was 10 months. While Jon was cleaning her up from dinner, he thought it'd be fun to give her a new hairdo with the help of a wet washcloth ! What d'ya think?
Carter won 1st place at his school's science fair for the 4th graders. All of the kids were required to participate. ( I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have done it if it weren't required!) It was a good experience and he enjoyed doing it, but was glad when it was over - and so were we!
These pictures depict some of the advantages of being a "younger" brother. Carter was never so fortunate to have an older brother who would be so kind as to draw pig faces and other miscelaneous drawings all over his body. :) He also did not have an older brother to teach him that it's funny to use "potty talk" at the table. In all reality though , Evan really is pretty lucky to have such an awesome big brother. On Saturday, we had about an hour before we headed out to a birthday party and Carter was asking what he could do - could he call his friend to play. I said, "no," we'll be leaving soon, just find something to do around here. Soon I hear, "Hey Evan, do you want to go outside and play with me?" They spent the next hour having so much fun together. They set the slip and slide up at the bottom of our new playset slide and turned the hose on to run down the slide and then slide down the "water slide" while landing on the slip and slide. They were giggling and laughing - it was sweet music to my ears. So despite, some of the crazy things he learns from his big brother - he's pretty lucky to be a younger brother!
