Kate the Pack Rat

If you are arount Kate much at all, you know that she always and I mean ALWAYS has a bag or two on her shoulder or back. She loves to carry various things around in her bag/purse. You know how some kids have to have their special blanket or stuffed animal or toy car with them at all times. That's how Kate is with her bags. They go EVERYWHERE with her (except church). Yesterday we took this picture of Kate with her two bags and we also dumped everything out to see what was in there. There are always a few chapsticks or lipglosses (usually belonging to Becca and Emma), usually a few small plastic animals or stuffed animals, and then a whole bunch of random things. On this particular day we found the "B" magnet from the fridge (her favorite letter), two bracelets - one belonging to her friend Elizabeth and the other belonging to her friend, Kate, a fingernail file, Becca's small notepad, sunglasses, Evan's toy camera, a few necklaces and silly bands and a set of 6 little pinch bowls from my kitchen. Funny story about the bowls. This very same morning, I opened my cupboard to get one of these bowls out and they were all gone and I said outloud to myself, " Where did all of my little bowls go?" and Kate replied, "they're in my bag." Actually, maybe it's not Kate the Pack Rat it's Kate the Scrounger.
