We had the weirdest weather on Thursday. Earlier in the week it was close to 100 degrees. Then, on Thursday we had probably the heaviest rain storm I've seen here , along with thunder, lightning and hail. It was really fun! Of course, as usual, a few hours after the storm, the sun was out and the streets were completely dry.
Here's a picture of the hail.
Here's a video of the river running down our street! It's too bad the kid's were in school - they would've had fun stomping in the rain.

We are having weird weather also. In April, one day, it was 80 degrees. The next day it snowed 2-3 inches. It wasn't just a little, quick snowstorm! It was cold and lasted all day.
Love the posting with the video.
Love,
Mom and Dad
Wow, we had that here Saturday night. We were at a friends house celebrating Craig's birthday, and we had a massive thunderstorm. We sat in their living room for about two hours in the dark, watching the sky light up. It was very close, and very loud, and boy, did it pour. Sunday morning when we watched the news, they were discussing how the rainfall at the Portland airport was measured at almost an inch in one hour, which I guess broke a record from sometime in the seventies. Odd spring I guess!
That was crazy weather! I'll never forget it! Kinda cool we had a river for a short while, hau? =)
