Kate needs to work on her negotiating skills. This is not the first time she has demonstrated a lack of understanding in the bargaining arena. The other day she asked for some hot chocolate so I made her a cup of hot chocolate in a mug. She was upset because she said she wanted it in a sippy cup. I told her that I didn't want to dirty another cup and she could just drink it out of the mug. She got all huffy puffy and stormed off saying, "Fine, then I'm NOT having hot chocolate." To which I replied, "ok."
